I really liked Skagway, though I wish now that I had chosen a different excursion.  I had hoped there would be more animal sightings, because it was named “Wildlife Safari”.  As it turned out I didn’t see any while we were out at the glacier.  We got to walk on the glacier, which is incredibly cool.  Not many people can say they’ve done that.  We also saw a huge colony of sea lions.  I hoped we would see an Orka, because sea lions are one of their favorite treats.  However, it wasn’t in the cards this trip!  It was definitely an amazing experience though, and would love to visit again.  The photograph in this entry was taken as we pulled out of port in Skagway.  The sunsets in Alaska are absolutely out of this world.
