I was recently asked to photograph the SEBRA Rodeo held at Mountain Mule Packer Ranch in Raeford, NC.  The farm had posted on their Facebook page, asking if anyone knew a photographer that might be interested in coming out.  One of my barrel racing customers tagged me, saying I might be.  The farm owner sent me a message and informed me 7 other people  had contacted her with my name.  I’ve found that my photography business has consistently humbled me; that so many people would recommend me to a new client is amazing and wonderful.  I was excited because I love photographing rodeos as well!

The Rodeo was over two nights, July 5 and July 6.  I really enjoyed both nights, but the second night was my favorite.  I shot from the chute side of the pen part of the night and was able to meet and talk with several of the bull riders and the bull fighters.  They were such good people.  I gained about 45 likes on my Facebook photography page and saw over 3,000 hits to the page following the rodeo, thanks to the word of mouth advertising of these cowboys.  It was a simply amazing experience and I hope I have the chance to photograph them again soon.
