About a week and a half ago, I was photographing an event at the farm I work and volunteer at.  My job was simply to walk around all day capturing the things going on.  As I was making my rounds, I saw two of the horses going into the pond.  In and of itself, this wasn’t a huge deal.  I snapped a few pictures and almost decided to move on.  Instead, I waited. I’m so glad I did.

Chester and Rebel, both horses belonging to my friend and director of the program, moved toward each other and did this.  I couldn’t have planned or posed this photo better if I’d had an ounce of control of it. It’s as if Rebel and Chester knew I was there and wanted to give me a really great photo.

I got a copy developed for Joy, the owner.  When I went to pick it up yesterday the guy at Wal*greens said, “You should be a photographer!” 🙂  I said, “I’ll consider that!”

  1. Omigod, that is SO CUTE…and beautiful! Amazing shot! 🙂

  2. Thinks Lisa! It’s definitely one of my favorite that I’ve ever taken.
